A little shed. A lot of impact.

Homesteaders for the Holidays has grown because this community keeps showing up. More supporters, more donated items, more projects and more families served. It is a beautiful problem to have, but it has created a very real need.

We need a safe, organized, temperature-controlled shed to store donations year-round.

Why We Need It

From holiday gifts and clothing to hygiene items, household essentials and auction donations, every item given to us needs to be protected until it reaches the people who need it.

Texas weather is tough, and limited storage makes it harder to keep donations safe, sorted and ready to deliver. A shed with electricity and temperature control would help us protect donated items, stay organized and respond more quickly when needs come up.

This space will help us:

  • Store donations safely year-round

  • Protect items from heat, cold, moisture and damage

  • Organize gifts, clothing, hygiene products and household essentials

  • Prepare for holiday drives and special projects

  • Serve families, shelters and community partners more efficiently

The Best Kind of Problem

This need exists because people care.

Our supporters have donated, shared, bid, encouraged and helped Homesteaders for the Holidays grow in ways we could not have imagined. Now we need the behind-the-scenes space to keep growing responsibly and serve well.

How You Can Help

We are raising funds to purchase and equip a shed with electricity, temperature control, shelving and storage supplies. You can help by making a donation or bidding in one of our fundraising auctions.

Check back often as auction items may be added or updated.

Thank You

Every donated item represents someone’s generosity. This shed will help us care for those gifts well and move them into the hands of people who need them most. Thank you for giving, bidding, sharing and helping us Shed a Little Light.
