The 2026 Christmas Project
We’re starting with two locations and hoping to spread even more Christmas magic! With your support, we can keep the giving going, one group (or in this case, two!) at a time. The more support we receive, the more people we can help!
This Christmas, Homesteaders for the Holidays is setting out to bring a whole lot of joy to people who deserve to feel remembered, celebrated and loved.
But we’re doing it a little differently.
Instead of announcing a giant list of Christmas drives and hoping we can fulfill them all, we will focus on just one or two groups at a time. We’ll make sure those needs are met, then, as support continues, we’ll move on to the next.
The more you give, the more Christmases we can make happen. It really is that simple.
Christmas for 21 Seniors
We’re starting with 21 residents of a local senior home.
Our goal is to make sure every resident has something special waiting for them this Christmas and knows that someone in their community was thinking about them.
A Christmas to Remember
This project is BIG.
We are adopting an entire domestic violence center for Christmas, providing gifts for the individuals and families it serves and throwing them a Christmas party they won’t soon forget.
We’re talking Christmas gifts, treats and plenty of holiday magic, including a Christmas movie on a giant inflatable movie screen, a face painter and even Santa himself, who will be bringing along a magic show and making balloon animals.
For families going through an incredibly difficult chapter, we want this to be a night when they can simply laugh, celebrate and make happy memories together.
And Then? We Keep Going.
Once we take care of our Domestic Violence Shelter and our seniors, if our amazing community keeps supporting the Christmas Project, Homesteaders for the Holidays will keep finding people to love on.
We’ve also connected with a local foster care group serving children of various ages, and with enough support, we hope to make Christmas extra special for these children, too.
We hope to add a local Angel Tree focused on sibling groups, adopting entire families whenever possible. Keeping siblings together means we can make sure every child in the family is treated fairly and no brother or sister gets unintentionally left behind.
We also hope to fulfill a high school Angel Tree, because teenagers deserve Christmas magic, too. Older kids can sometimes be overlooked during holiday giving drives, and we want them to know they matter just as much.
The more support we receive, the more Christmas wishes we can fulfill!
Why We’re Doing It This Way
We could put every wish list, every family and every organization out there at once.
But that’s not how we want to do this.
We want to finish what we start.
By focusing on only one or two drives at a time, we can make sure each group receives the attention and support it deserves before we move on to the next.
When one goal is met, we open the next.
When that goal is met, we keep going.
Every donation helps us finish the Christmas in front of us and get to the next one.
So, how many people can we help this Christmas?
That part is up to all of us.
